National Youth Development Program
As part of the commitment of Oman Cables Industry SAOG (OCI) and Public Authority for Privatization and partnership (PAPP) towards the sustainable growth and development of Omani youth, OCI in cooperation with NAMA Group is pleased to announce 'THYMAR' National Youth Development Program and is inviting applications for the Program.
About THYMAR NYDP
Oman Cables Industry in partnership with Public Authority for Privatisation and Partnership and NAMA Group has developed TYHMAR National Youth Development Program as a strategic initiative for supporting the training and development needs of recent local Omani graduates. The program addresses employment readiness by developing the “Work Competencies” of the aspirants through collaboration with leading global companies and academic institutions.
Focusing on the manufacturing industry, successful candidates are systematically trained on different business aspects followed by specialized training in their field of expertise. Candidates are trained locally in Oman and are also provided international exposure during the 12 months.
The future of the nation depends on the power of the youth.
The program takes stake in aiming to provide a solid experience by engaging high involvement in the manufacturing industry globally and within Oman through dedicated technical course work, managerial basics program and on the job training. Focused on increasing the aspirant's international exposure at the world's best manufacturing companies, working in tandem towards making revolutionary steps and achievements a possibility.

The Public Authority for Privatisation & Partnership (PAPP), was established on the 1st of July 2019. PAPP is an independent government unit reporting to the cabinet of ministers. PAPP’s responsibilities are implementing the Tawazun Oman Programme (Partnership for development Previously), implementing the Privatisation Law, and implementing the Public-Private Partnership Law. With the objectives of encouraging the partnership between the public and private sectors, contribute to the development of the national economy, enhancement of the local added value and the diversification of the sources of income, contribute to the capacity building of the citizens, and increasing their employment opportunities, and contribute to increasing the market and competitive strength, and the development of the capital market.
Oman Cables Industry has partnered with PAPP & NAMA Group for National Youth Development Program that focuses on developing the employability of Omani Youth which prioritizes on equipping young people with training and strategic opportunity
We call upon our youth to work hard to acquire the skills and expertness which will enable then to join all professions. They must not disdain any profession. They must not relax their efforts. They must be truly devoted to providing their excellence and demonstrate their worthiness in whatever task is assigned to them, no matter what that work is.

The National Youth Development Program is a program that embraces Omani Graduates with the objective of equipping them through practical training (local and international) and diverse initial experiences in the manufacturing industry.
