Oman Cables Industry SAOG (OCI) and Public Authority for Privatisation & Partnership (PAPP) in collaboration with the Prysmian Group provides an opportunity to high potential Omani Nationals, to undergo the prestigious Graduate Program at Prysmian. The Graduate Program is aimed at developing the selected candidates’ skillsets through rigorous conceptual training, on the job training & International assignments. The selected candidates will be appointed at Oman Cables Industry.
The Public Authority for Privatisation & Partnership (PAPP), was established on the 1st of July 2019. PAPP is an independent government unit reported to the cabinet of ministers. PAPP responsibilities are implementing the Tawazun Oman Programme (Partnership for development “Previously”), implementing the Privatisation Law, and implementing the Public-Private Partnership Law. With the objectives of encourage the partnership between the public and private sectors, contribute to the development of the national economy, enhancement of the local added value and the diversification of the sources of income, contribute to the capacity building of the citizens, and increasing their employment opportunities, and contribute to increasing the market and competitive strength, and the development of the capital market.

Giving them the chance to develop the skills and expertise they need to succeed in the industry.

The program starts with a two-week Global Induction in Milan with training and activities led by the Prysmian Group Academy in collaboration with a Top-Ranking Business School. During the first weeks of your journey, you also start our mentorship program.

Following your induction, you will be part of 1-year job rotation in 3 different departments: Research and Development, Operations in one of our production sites, and Commercial. After the first year of rotation, you will start your international assignment for a duration ranging from 2 to 3 years. The international assignment is a great experience to learn new ways of working, acquiring new knowledge, meeting new colleagues and embracing a new culture. At the end of your assignment abroad, you will be ready to take a new responsibility.

Applicants to this program are graduates who undergo a rigorous selection process including Tests & Questionnaire, Assessment, and Personal interviews. Only the best candidates get admission.
