Oman Cables Renews Employee Share Ownership and Incentive Program, Advancing Shared Value Creation
Muscat, May 2nd 2026
Muscat, May 2nd 2026 Oman Cables Industry (SAOG), the Sultanate’s leading cable manufacturer and integrated solutions provider, announces the launch of a new edition of its employee incentive and share ownership program, continuing a journey that began in 2022 and has since redefined the relationship between performance, reward, and people.
Supported by Prysmian, the global leader in the cable industry and Oman Cables’ strategic partner and major shareholder, the program has been strongly embraced by employees across the organization. Its continuation reflects Oman Cables’ commitment to recognizing employee contribution and encouraging active participation in the company’s long term success.
Building on the strong momentum and positive outcomes of previous editions, the program reflects a clear philosophy: value created by the company should be shared with those who help generate it. For Oman Cables, incentives are not merely financial rewards, but tools for empowerment that enable employees to become shareholders and long term partners in the company’s success. The program is a performance linked reward mechanism tied directly to the achievement of defined business and growth targets. It is not a guaranteed entitlement, but an earned outcome that recognizes exceptional contribution to the company’s performance and value creation.
Erkan Aydogdu, CEO of Oman Cables Industry, said:
“Four years on, this program is no longer an initiative. It is part of how we work. It is a performance linked reward mechanism, earned through the achievement of clear business and growth targets, not a guaranteed entitlement. Our people have chosen to contribute beyond expectations, and the company has grown around that choice.
By enabling employees to become shareholders and directly share in the value they help create, we set out in 2022 to close a gap few industrial companies address. Every share held by an Oman Cables employee ultimately supports an Omani family. That principle, recognized performance, shared value, and long term commitment, is what makes Oman Cables a different kind of employer today.”
Over successive editions, the initiative has delivered tangible impact, generating value equivalent in some cases to nearly two years of remuneration. Employees across both desk and non desk roles have increasingly engaged as shareholders, strengthening their sense of ownership, inclusion, and alignment with the company’s long term performance. This new edition reinforces that trajectory by ensuring continuity while further deepening participation and awareness.
Beyond the financial benefit, the program supports a broader form of employee development. By linking incentives to share ownership and performance, it strengthens financial awareness, sustainability literacy, and understanding of how individual contribution connects to corporate value creation, resilience, and long term growth. This helps embed a culture where performance, accountability, and sustainability are not abstract concepts, but lived experiences.
The renewed scheme also reinforces Oman Cables’ broader ESG framework, its contribution to Oman Vision 2040, and alignment with Prysmian’s Social Ambition 2030. It reflects the belief that sustainable companies are built by engaged, informed, and motivated people, and that long term corporate success should translate into long term prosperity for the workforce and the communities in which the company operates. With a majority of Oman Cables employees participating in the program as shareholders, and with Prysmian’s global ambition to reach 50% employee share ownership worldwide, the initiative further strengthens a culture of ownership, inclusion, and shared success across the organization.
As Oman Cables continues to expand its presence across the Middle East, Africa, Turkey, and India region, reaching more than 40 countries through its network of agents, distributors, and regional offices, the employee share incentive program has become a benchmark for how industrial companies can connect performance, ownership, and growth ambition.
Beyond the share incentive program, Oman Cables continues to strengthen its employee welfare strategy. Since 2022, the company has expanded a range of people focused support initiatives, from newborn baby bonuses to parental support policies, as well as a pioneering welfare policy designed to provide long term financial assistance and future employment support for the families of employees in the unfortunate event of an employee’s passing. Together, these initiatives reflect a consistent belief at Oman Cables: that a company’s strongest long term asset is the wellbeing, ownership, and ambition of its people.
As the company launches this new edition, the message remains clear: success is strongest when it is shared. Through continuity, inclusion, and education, Oman Cables continues to turn corporate performance into personal progress, creating lasting value for employees, shareholders, and the wider community alike.
