The 2-day training course attended by company members of NAMA Group covered a set of Strategies about effective asset management & risk analysis presented for cable systems. Theory & case studies about cable system failures & Practical session about Partial Discharge detection in the Advanced Testing laboratory (ATL) were carried out. In addition to approaches on the reduction in operational expenditures and improvement of asset reliability by means of digitalization and move towards condition-based assessment in order to increase reliability and reduce the number of outages. The training will give a framework how the utility can carry out their risk analysis and use the right devices to test their components.
