Nama Group signs new RO 400 Million Contract

Oman Cables has been a long standing supporter of the Nama group championing a strong era of local supply to the Electrical Utilities across The Sultanate of Oman with a mix of 11-33Kv electrical cables.This year, running in parallel with the 2018 Energy and Water Conference, Nama Group signed 3 contracts totaling 400M Omani Riyal – one of which was with Oman Cables Industry SAOG.

The contracts run for a period of 3 years with the opportunity for a further 2 years renewal. For Oman Cables this represents an ongoing commitment to the local market in Oman and signifies clearly the competitiveness on a Global Scale of locally based Industries like Oman Cables. In addition to employing a large number of Oman Nationals throughout all aspects of the business, the company prides itself on a commitment to developing local Graduates and providing training to the Electrical industry.

Representing Oman Cables at the signing ceremony was GM Sales and Marketing – Mr Louis du Preez (signing the contract on behalf of Oman cables) and Chairman of Nama Group Mr Hassan bin Mohammed al Lawati signing for Nama Group.
