Oman Cables Industry SAOG, manufacturer of integrated product range of various cable types completes first vaccine doses for its employees in collaboration with the recently commissioned Oman International Hospital (OIH) managed by Idealmed Global Health Services (IGHS). The vaccination program initiative is part of the Group’s sustained commitment to safeguarding the health and well-being of its workforce, customers and wider community.
The adoption of the vaccination has been encouraged through comprehensive communication campaigns targeted at employees to raise awareness about the program. To provide a seamless and safe vaccination experience, Oman Cables has partnered with the leading Oman International hospital.
Since the COVID-19 outbreak, Oman Cables has implemented multiple layers of hygiene and safety measures to curb the spread of the virus. These include social distancing and mandatory masks, compulsory screening for visitors, rigorous disinfection and sanitization drives.
In support of the efforts of the governmental authorities in the Sultanate of Oman, Oman Cables identifies its role in contributing towards critical causes by offering support to help local communities and members become more resilient, particularly those on the frontlines soldiering every day to save hundreds of lives.
The health and well-being of employees and customers remains at primary focus. Oman Cables is adamant about creating a first-rate safety environment through continuous monitoring of safety recommendations from local health officials as well as the World Health Organization (WHO).
Oman Cables will proceed with the second dose of the vaccine according to the specified time period. The vaccination program has also been extended to be offered to employees’ families. This will be in coordination with Oman International Hospital and in line with the Company’s strategy for immunization against Covid-19.
