Oman Cables Hosts MEIRA Oman Chapter Meeting to Advance Capital Market Transparency, Disclosure Practices, Investor Engagement and Value Creation
April 2026 – Muscat, Oman: Oman Cables Industry, the Sultanate’s leading cable manufacturer and integrated energy solutions provider, hosts the MEIRA Oman Chapter Meeting at its Global Sustainability Academy, convening Investor Relations leaders across Oman’s listed companies, market participants, and senior stakeholders to strengthen dialogue and effective stakeholders engagement, bridging strategy, transparency and trust, transforming regulatory disclosures into informed decisions, market confidence, and supporting longterm value creation for companies and the market alike.
Organized by the Middle East Investor Relations Association (MEIRA) and in partnership with Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX), the session focuses on enhancing the attractiveness of Oman’s capital market, while fostering stronger connections between listed companies, investors, and the Muscat Stock Exchange. The meeting serves as a platform to reinforce core Investor Relations principles centered on transparency, accuracy, integrity, collaboration, and influence, while encouraging the exchange of global best practices across the IR community in Oman.
The programme opens with welcome remarks from Erkan Aydogdu, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Cables Industry and the Muscat Stock Exchange, followed by expert insights from Aisha Al Balushi, Senior Investor Relations Officer at Omantel, and Ali Mustafa Al Lawati, Founder of National Academy for Training and Development, alongside contributions from IR and capital market specialists and practitioners. The session takes place in the presence of Haitham bin Salem Al Salmi, Chief Executive Officer of the Muscat Stock Exchange, reflecting the importance of alignment between corporates and market regulators in building a resilient and trusted investment ecosystem.
